Has anyone else had this problem?
So basically the issue is that I run quarantine and I just get a black screen and the game locks up.
I'm pretty sure it is frozen is since the num lock toggle wont work.
I remember I had the game running ages ago but since I've got around to test it recently it won't run.
I tried the CD version after the floppy one and it also had the same issue.
After reading the readme , it suggested turning off emm386 , interestingly it worked in PCem but on real hardware it didn't do anything.
I should also probably mention I used to have a S3 Trio 64 V2/DX but since a while back switched to using a S3 Virge VX.
Is it possible its a conflict issue , given it works on PCem?
Also I couldn't figure out how to get the CD intro to play with sound , it locks up on the first frame after launching qvidaud.bat.
There is another batch file call qvid.bat that runs the intro without sound and that works fine , I read online and other people had same issue.
This also manifests with PCem.
It seems it uses some file player called DOS/VESA DUCK player.

I found the old website.
Also the patches don't seem to work , the QCD.EXE file locks up the game even with EMM386 diabled on PCem.
Ditto for running on real hardware.
I should probably list my system since it might be a source of issues and is a tricky beast to tame at times.
