Hello everyone
I have 4 Micron computers and I would like to run some utilities on them like HWinfo32 or others. When I look on Major Geeks I only see modern versions of utilities. I have a AN430TX , a 440LX, a 440BX, and a D815EEA motherboard. All of these motherboards seem to have on board Yamaha sound. I think it is interesting however; I can't get Shadow warrior to play music. On the AN430TX I used several sound blaster cards in different ISA slots and everyone of them used High DMA 16 IRQ 3. I tried them in all 3 ISA slots and could not change the IRQ from 3. Even using sbset in dos and changing the IRQ I keep getting the same IRQ error in Shadow Warrior set up. When I did find a site that said they had HWinfo32, when you downloaded it, it was HWinfo64.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I would appreciate it.

I really was hoping this card would work. It is a Sound Blaster 16 Waveffects. I put it in all 3 ISA slots and windows 98 always said it was using IRQ 3.

you'll have to manually reassign the IRQ and may have to juggle other IRQs to free up the one you really want to use.

Isn't Shadow Warrior a CD-audio game? I don't think the registered version uses FM/MIDI music, does it? It's been a long time since I played that one.

Right, that is definitely the case. You can hear the MIDI/FM in the setup program, but game itself uses CD audio.
