GOT IT! With version 0.72 it works, but with another UNIVBE version that I've taken from The Need For Speed (version 5.0 Lite). With this one, the game works fine without the need of using that "vgaonly" video mode from the CVS build, except for the fact that the game cannot show all its colors at the same time on screen.
I think that this could be some sort of a bug within the UNIVBE 5.0 itself, not Dosbox. I tried latest UNIVBE versions, like the 6.7 but this version refuses to detect a superVGA chip with my machine, so, it's useless.
One weird thing about Supreme Warrior is that it has a commandline option (" f ") that eliminates flickering. If I enable that option, the game shows a message at the prompt before entering the game, saying: "Multicolor not used". After that, the game starts and the video quality increases A LOT, but strangely, the control panels and background screens around the video becomes very poor colored (looks like EGA or something). And If I enter the game without the " f " commandline option, the video quality is decreased (looks like palletized video) and the control panel/background screens around the video screen are nicely displayed.
Is there any way to make those latest UNIVBE drivers working with Dosbox and modern videocards?
Regards,
RC.
