Does the cat ship inside the disk drives or separately? 😉

That so reminds me of the Tandy computer external drive unit I found in a humid Florida garage. In my case the only thing saveable was the controller cart and ribbon cable.

The drive cabinet could be stripped and repainted. Not a huge affair.

Nah. Bottom areas of the chassis around the screws crumbled like cake. Both drives had extensive corrosion and the heads were toast. I've done plenty of restoration over the years. I know when to move on.

If the drives themselves were corroded it's a different story

I have a number of old SB-type sound cards I want to part with, and can't bother to try to sell. These are:

16-bit ISA:

  • PRO16PNP ALS100 with clone OPL3 (LS262+LS125A)
  • AV310 (CMI8330)
  • SB CT4170 [sold]

PCI:

  • ALS300

They all worked once upon a time, but they still look ok visually so chances are high they still work. I'm located in the Netherlands, so shipping goes from there. I'm not sure how this thread works, do people ask here, or DM?

I think that's up to you as the donor.

See my graphics card database at www.gpuzoo.com
Constantly being worked on. Feel free to message me with any corrections or details of cards you would like me to research and add.

I'm interested in the Als300 and Als100 cards if they're still available. Also located in the Netherlands btw.

You list your stuff, as you did. Someone wants it and posts and then PM's you where they live so you can figure the shipping to them. They pay shipping and you ship.
That is how it worked for me so far 😀

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

Yep.

Also, for US shippers, please don't get ripped off by retail shipping rates. Pirateship can save you 80% or more. And you can ship to Europe for ~15 bucks in most cases. Opening up more swap opportunities. 😀

A couple of weeks ago DosFreak explicitly said multiple times in a forum posting that it is allowed to sell your services on this forum. So you can flood this forum with paid for services announcements as much as you want. If that's a good thing is another discussion IMO.
