Hello, stumbled onto this since I cannot get working 2x gravis gamepad and the gravis gamepad pro with the Logilink Gameport to Usb adapter.. On a YouTube video I found that switch has to be set on 3 for gravis gamepads, however only left and right directions work..

I have a Win 10 PC... Would this work?

If so I'm interested in purchasing.. As for soldering I am good at it 😀

The "Logilink Gameport to Usb adapter" is the same as the original "Rockfire Gameport Adapter".
It supports only analogue gameport joysticks whereas the "Necroware gameport adapter" implements own logic to also support Joysticks & gamepads in digital mode.
It is also OS independent, so you can even plug it into the USB connectior of your phone and play with a Gravis Gameport gamepad like this

Thanks for the detailed reply. Will check out the videos.

As for buying the kit, do I need to preorder from here?

I'm from Malta EU.

This goes into the no marketplace rule, so some posts are removed.

VOGONS is no marketplace!

Lostdotfish: I understand you're selling an assembled community project for the cost of BOM and beer, but we have to put the line somewhere. I'd accept if you mentioned in your post you had a small surplus and to contact you outside the forum for details, but making bumps and everything is too far.

Your post is way border-line on the rule, so this should not be seen as a set policy on VOGONS going forward.

I have a Logitech Wingman Extreme Digital 3D (J-AZ10) and a Logitech Wingman Gamepad (G-ZB-PHI) but they don't work when I put the adapter in ADI mode. They seem to be properly recognized, but the adapter don't register any button press or axis move. I tried to change some polling time settings in the software but I wasn't able to make it work.

With other three analog joysticks that I have, the adapter works well when switched to the respective analog mode, so I guess this issue with Logitech joysticks should be software related and not hardware related. I'm using the latest software available downloaded directly from the main branche.
