Hello i got a mb Mainboard that on pcb lists a numner only 35-8804 ans a pcpartner logo

on boot of bios i see this bios: bios-g (71209B)

and on bottom this string
01/22/98-580VPX-LGS3C-2A5LDV3HC-00

such version of bios is no where to be found even in retroweb , so even if i wanted to update the bios i cannot , as flashing different bioses on it will brick it completely and must be then garbaged !!!

can anyone help me out?

I suspect that it is the original BIOS, which is often not listed with such old motherboards. From the listing on The RetroWeb, I see this note: "VT82C585VPX + VT82C586A on VIB804DS
VIB800DS/VIB804DS/VIB814DS share the same BIOS."

It does look as though you need to match the BIOS with the I/O chip your board has.

After watching many YouTube videos about older computer hardware, YouTube began recommending videos about trains - are they trying to tell me something?

so motherboard is a VIB804DS or VIB804DSE ??? because they got different bioses... the screenshot is from VIB804DSE

?

Need a good picture of the board to identify all parts. As Repo_Man11 said: you need to match the BIOS with the I/O chip your board has.
Curious why you want to update BIOS ? If the motherboard is working there is no need. There may not be a newer BIOS.....

i cant even run awdflash to try flash the bios

When typing on the keyboard in dos mode for gods sake the pc locks up and it must be reset...
