As everyone knows, the NVIDIA has stopped supporting 32-bit PhysX. I didn't quite understand the essence of the matter. But I immediately had a lot of thoughts about how this could possibly be resolved.
-Is it possible that in the future there will be some kind of wrapper (not dg, third party, is it even possible?) for support?
-Since the 64-bit version continues to be supported, is it possible to convert the API?
-(most likely not) but is it possible to convert something using the dgVoodoo to transform the commands into a working API version?
-possibly other completely crazy and idiotic ideas =))

I would like to hear an answer from a professional, an author dgVoodoo Dege.

Nvidia should do this in the driver. If they do not, it would be nice if someone could make a wrapper. Right now I use an older secondary card on a x4 lane that is separate from the primary GPU.
Cheers!

There was some discussion of this a few months ago: NVIDIA's 32-Bit PhysX Waves Goodbye with GeForce RTX 50 Series Ending 32-Bit CUDA Software Support

But I gather you want Dege's input from a developer's standpoint.

The 4000s still support it, yes?

99% likely if you go through the driver infs you'll:

Figure out which one controls physx.

Then spot the difference in paths the installer takes.

Then mod it successfully.

Its not a driver issue, its a direct hardware one, nVidia is totally to blame here and I'm not even sure why they decided to remove 32bit Physx but I see it ever being fixed till nVidia does it or someone out there decides to sit down and write a wrapper to convert every single 32bit Physx call into the 64bit API . I really don't see nVidia even bothering with it, they want devs to move to 64bit Physx functions and honestly us consumers are just an after thought to nVidia now, they have their AI money and don't need us, I fully expect nVidia to move out of the GPU market in the next 5-10 years.

Its task I wouldn't wish upon anyone, itll be a huge task and honestly its far easier to just throw a 1660 or 1060 in the PC to handle the 32bit Physx, you don't need anything powerful or expensive for that task, even a dirt cheap 750ti could handle it.

Never forget nVidia does this bullshit all the time, they did it with DLSS and other features locking them behind hardware or manufactured hardware limitations.
