I have uploaded version 6.2.6. Please let me know if it fixes the problem.

Looks OK now...

Thanks for the feedback.
HWiNFO for DOS thinks my AWE64 Gold is a PAS.
Has there been any thought to adding a BIOS image copy feature to HWINFO? If you do implement it, an option to save as EVEN/ODD (two file) could be helpful for some people.
Plan your life wisely, you'll be dead before you know it.

Can you provide the HWiNFO Debug File so I can check it?

In the past HWiNFO was shipped with small utils to dump some data including BIOS image (but not even/odd). They can be downloaded now here: https://www.hwinfo.com/files/old/

Managed to spend some more time on this. It's a very strange bug.
I ran HWiNFO today and it worked perfectly, BUT...
I then closed the app and ran it again but this time I got the Microsoft Sound System.
Here is the debug file for when it detected the Microsoft Sound System.
It's a bit tricky to replicate. I can't do it everytime but when the bug does occur, I go into Mainboard info then Video info and finally Peripherals info. Let me know if you need anything else.
Hi, I've been using HWiNFO for as long as I can remember, and I'm really happy it's still being maintained!
That said, I just wanted to report a small bug: HWiNFO reports the Sound Blaster 16 DSP version as 4.4, when it should actually be 4.04.

Thanks, will be fixed in the next version.
HWinfo DOS. RyZen+7900GS+SBLive / Native DOS run.
The 3 body problems cannot be solved, neither for future quantum computers, even for the remainder of the universe. The Proton 2D is circling a planet and stepping back to the quantum size in 11 dimensions.
The DOS version is not designed for such later systems. It intentionally lacks support of these systems to maintain a low footprint.

Of course, I know, I just added it as an interesting fact that it can detect a few things well even from this.

It would be nice to provide clear statement about recommended versions for various hardware categories.
Something like:
"for 16-bit CPU - use HWiNFO16
for 32-bit CPU - use HWiNFO for DOS
for 64-bit CPU - use HWiNFO for Windows"

There's no eaxct margin where to use HWiNFO for DOS or HWiNFO32. I'd say:
For 16-bit CPU (8086-286) - Use HWiNFO16
For 32-bit CPU (386+) - Use HWiNFO for DOS; for systems capable running W2k/XP use HWiNFO32 for Windows
For 64-bit CPU - Use HWiNFO64 for Windows
For ARM64 (Windows) - Use HWiNFO ARM64
It runs fine under Win98 on the 7.02 madness machine.

Yes, HWiNFO32 supports Win98 too but you'll usually get better results under Win2k/XP
Yes, a great program!
I have a mania for running the older operating system on the latest computer, which is why I like that it runs on Win98 as well.
