Awesome work with the case modifications! Not sure if you painted or retrobrighted the case and the drives, but they seem to have the same hue now, which looks super clean.

BTW, I don't know what gear you use for recording, but your videos always look really good. Very crisp and with nice lighting. Great production values all around!

Those were the most desired motherboards for running windows in late 1990’s

Thank you! I painted them all with off-white. I shoot with my Canon 6D Mark II, f2.8 20-70 mm and f2.8 70-200 mm. For lighting I use two studio bulbs and I use simple adapters to use them in SMDV softboxes that are meant for speedlights. The adapters enables this modification without breaking anything.

Yes, both MSI-MS6119 and Asus P2B-F are 440BX boards.

Thanks! I have three builds, two of them are currently in active use: this one and my P4-powered Win98 machine, and they are also hooked up with an ethernet cable for some multiplayer 😁

I think the brushed metal and woodgrain goes really well, somewhat like how old home stereo systems were.

I also like the mix of modern with old. Like the head spreaders on the RAM sticks, the more modern approach to case cable management.

The V1 and Orpheus + X2GSwill cover dos really well.
Personally I'd prefer an Audigy over SB Live, just to keep the high end feel, I doubt it really matters though.

Video was also really good, I really liked the hardware section when you would light up the item, then turn the light off just before moving to the next item.

Thanks guys! Cable management has become a very important aspect for me, it really improves airflow when the cable are out of the way and also makes it easier to work with the interior. Considering the games I play with this machine, I doubt upgrading to Audigy makes any difference.
