I played Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 for the first time in two weeks the other day. It was nice to get back into it, but it took me awhile to figure out what I had done and needed to do next. My wife had spinal fusion surgery 2 weeks ago, so my time has been a little...occupied. 😀 She's doing great, and hopefully long-term it will improve her quality of life.

I wish her a speedy recovery.

I got KCD1 on your recommendation, as I enjoyed reading your posts about the sequel. Not sure when I'll get around to playing it, but it's pretty high on my list.

All the best for both of you

I tried my hand at Pointless Fighting, a fan port of Street Fighter 2 for the MSX 2. The graphics were shockingly good for the system, and the game, even though it was limited to only six characters, was fun. Unfortunately, I found pulling off the special moves wildly inconsistent, although that might have been due to the crummy dpad I was using.

Revisiting Rise of the Tomb Raider once again. This game is ten years old now, and it still looks spectacular. In my view, its visuals surpass some present day titles, despite not using ray tracing and whatnot. I'm playing this at 1080p, all settings maxed (including VXAO), with DLSS4 and DLAA forced via Nvidia Profile Inspector. A few screenshots:

If anyone's interested, all three Survivor games are now available on GOG, completely DRM free.
