Only Wipeout 1 supports the Rage chips through ATI 3DCIF

W'O 2097 is just D3D5 but has multiple flags for different 3d chipsets, including the Rage series.

Thanks! Yes i know that the first WipeOut has CIF and WipeOut XL has Direct3D / PowerVR, it uses older DirectX3.

Ultim@te Race Pro (1998)
https://www.mobygames.com/game/2873/ultimte-race-pro/

For me and for ATi Rage Pro suits best Ultim@te Race Pro specific OEM version, listed as "Version 1.2 PB (v1.2.1.0)," it was bundled with Packard Bell computers. Also this game comes with ATi Rage Pro drivers on the CD, be it OEM or Retail version. I have not tested this game with older drivers from the CD. One strange thing - ATi Rage Pro does not have some small slowdowns in this game , but faster Rage XL/XC has. Ultim@te Race Pro update to patch 1.50 fixes slowdown issue for Rage XL/XC, but introduces some other issue to the game with all ATi Rage3 cards. I recommend 1.2 PB for all Rage3 cards or use 1.50 update for Rage XL/XC cards. Version 1.2 PB works best with my ATi 5.40x drivers and you should delete glide2x.dll from windows system folder or force -d3d to use direct3d if its with glidewrapper version of my driver! (ARx2611x3Dfx.7z = DDraw/3DCIF/Direct3D/OpenGL/GLUT/DVD/GlideWrapper / Driver download link download/file.php?id=239658)

Latest 5.40x modified driver: Re: ATi RagePro drivers and software

Did you know that there should be Ultim@te Race Rally (1998) and out there is 4 Wheel Thunder for PC?

I played Redline Racer loads back in the day on a Matrox Mystique 220. A few years ago, I played it on a Voodoo 2 SLI, and also on a Rage XL PCI. Whether using D3D or GLIDE, it’s a game that runs smoothly. This game gives the greatest sense of speed I can remember from that era; setting the refresh rate to 120Hz was quite a shock at first, in 1998, it wasn’t the norm.
On the Rage XL PCI, it ran perfectly and very fast.
Don't ask me the driver version.

Thanks! I have played Redline Racer also, but more i played MotoRacer back then.I will try SAER out, but it should be updated / enhanced version of Redline Racer and it looks different from it.
