I could make a bracket just for 3850's. But then I would just use my gainward bliss 7800 GS+ 🤣

Oh damn! I’m still trying to get my Gainward 7800gs working. It’s in the repair queue Gainward BLISS 7800 GS+ Golden Sample - Broken

Hurry up and get it fixed!!!!

I have never heard of a cpu locked from lower multipliers before.

All CPUs later then week 39/2003 were superlocked. Exceptions are Geode and XP-M CPUs.
Superlocked CPUs doesn't allow the multi change. Doesn't matter what BIOS you use.

I was trying to look into the digitalbath BIOSes, and it looked like they were mods that different timings were being tested with. What exactly do they do different than say a trats BIOS?

main difference should be the romsips. As far as I remember the romsip timings from the trats BIOS are fast but aggressive. It may hold you back in overclocking. Other more relaxed romsip values may benefit you in higher clocks.
I also modded some further dram timings to the BIOS. This may help you to get more stable with some DRAM sticks.

Was playing around with the Geode NX 1750. This is a fun chip!! All cpu overclock. Ill play with FSB tomorrow. Sorry Tehsiggi, I took your #1 spot for Thoroughbred cores.

nice score! This is a good Geode.

Yep, my one 2800 is such a case.. neat silicon - reaching 2,5GHz without issues, but has a fixed multiplier.. a pity 🙁 That's why I ordered a 2500 before 39/2003 for clocking a "regular" Barton.

EDIT: Interestingly, I tested with an X800XT at stock clocks and it basically is just shy of 500 points from the X1950GT.

You can try the stuff from the comments to reach a higher a score with the 1950GT https://hwbot.org/benchmarks/3dmark2001_se/su … issions/4773322
CSA Patch can be found here https://vogonsdrivers.com/getfile.php?fileid= … 825&menustate=0

Tried it, but the patch is for catalyst 10.2 - with that + the patch the performance was worse than on 7.7.
Thanks for the hint!

Now that is tempting, thanks for that.

I did not need faster memory to catch you.. (the memory is on it's way anyways)

Finally got the memory overclock on the GPU to work..

2-2-2-5 ram will give you between 500 to 1000 more points.

Had a couple of 21000 runs with better gpu clocking.. Screenshot will follow tomorrow. I'm having fun!

21000 isnt going to be enough to keep my thoroughbred out of 5th place.
