the topic starts with the well known t2p4:
manual gives a few voltage options of 2.9, 2.8, 2.7 and 2.5 volts(newer revisions may have an additional 3.2v), but as the wiring schematic has been analyzed long before, undocumented settings have become well known as in this page.
now, i have seen multiple socket7 boards(fic for example) using seemling similar jumpers for setting voltage, all down to 2.5volts minimum. is it possible to find out whether they do use a similar voltage regulating layout and to achieve lower voltage by capping multiple jumpers at a same time?
if possible, i would rather try getting 2.2v on boards with p55c support and run a k6-3 at 66*6, which would draw ~11amps of currency according to datasheet. can any socket7 board with split voltage handle that?
last and least, has this idea ever been discussed before?
