Just in case I am uploading my BIOS, I suspect the image is corrupted and working copy would be nice to compare. Unless of course somebody know how to identify parts from this cryptic ascii arts 😀

Hi! Just wanted to thank you for attaching the BIOS dump. I managed to get one of these boards, but it had some random EEPROM chip inserted (completely unrelated contents) by previous owner. I tried yours and the board works fine! Whatever issue you've had with yours, must be related to something else on the board - the BIOS seems OK!
I'll request the BIOS file gets added to RetroWeb's entry on this rare mobo, unless you want to do it yourself (as you are the real source!)?

Nice necro!

Wow what a weird board. Bios is "Phoenix NuBIOS Version 4.04" dated 09/05/96. Thats two years pre Award Software merger. I havent seen any pure Phoenix bioses before, gonna have some fun with this one.
btw Bios is 64KB only, half the dump is empty and redundant.

Apologies for the necro post, but this is such a rare board..
@rasz_pl Your comment regarding redundancy of the BIOS file explains why I see pictures of this board with 512kbit chip used for BIOS. By the way, you might find the contents of the chip that came with this board interesting (see attached, note numerous ascii texts in polish language). I think the previous owner just inserted a random chip into this board.

BIOS itself is quite interesting, albeit very limited in options. UI reminds me of Duke Nukem 3D setup 😁

🤣 its an eprom from polish SCADA controller by enel-automatyka.pl https://delibra.bg.polsl.pl/Content/44869/BCP … ktura-syste.pdf

Weird bios, weird chipset, weird manufacturer, fake cache, whats not to love 😀
When I have some time ill try finding 86box config able to run this bios.

I am puzzled with 486dlc is 386 pin arrangement, how could it be inserted into socket 3?

The fakest NEC chip I have ever seen. 😂

I am aroused about any X86 motherboard that has full functional ISA slot. I think i have problem. Not really into that original (Turbo) XT,286,386 and CGA/EGA stuff. So just a DOS nut.
PS. If I upload RAR, it is a 16-bit DOS RAR Version 2.50.

this : https://dfarq.homeip.net/texas-instruments-486sxl-cpu/
"TI also offered the 486SXL in 486SX packaging that plugged into a 168-pin socket"
is the only mention of TI variants being made also in 486 pinout I could find. Newer saw such CPU, not that Im a CPU aficionado or anything.

reposting Stojke image as imgur seem to have deleted his original and might delete hotlinked small version too

NEC did make gate arrays/structured ASICs in the nineties, it would be perfectly reasonable for someone to make a chipset based on such chip and manufacture it at NEC.
