Hi, I recently bought very cheap this motherboard as “untested,” with a passive northbridge cooler in a bag (along with 2 screws!—instead of plastic rivets) so I was expecting some kind of problem. When it arrived, of course, the POST didn't run (hang on E0), and it wasn't hard to figure out why: someone decided to replace the plastic rivets on the northbridge heatsink—which were likely lost or damaged—with screws, and in order to fit them through the smaller holes in the board, didn't hesitate to grab a drill and enlarge the holes 😀 Of course, in the process, he also cut off a signal line in one of the holes.
I re-soldered the circuit, and the board is working again, but in addition to the holes, the unknown hero also decided to replace the capacitors—he used whatever he had on hand, so they're general-purpose JAMICON capacitors 1500uF 6,3V.
They have a smaller diameter than the originals, so the leg spacing didn't match, and the capacitors “hang” above the board. I'd like to replace them with the correct ones along with the rest (GSC brand, also one of the infamous ones), but I don't know the correct specifications for the originals.
If anyone has this board, could you share the specifications of the main capacitors? The photos online aren't very clear, and it seems that Soltek used different variants (judging by the colors) depending on what they had in stock at the time.
