Thanks marxveix it's great that multitexture can get you a few more fps on Quake 2.
Interesting I couldn't get multitexture to work with GLQuake, when starting it detects multitexture support in the console then just crashes, I had to remove the multitexture extensions from atidbg.ini to get it started.

Sorry for late reply, but for my drivers later OpenGL versions also give same console crash with OpenGL 1106, 1107v1 and 1107v2, up to 1104 it works.
GLquake exit i did get error and latest working without exit error for me is 4.12.1100, but gl_ztrick 0 is needed from 1095 and it takes away view fps.
I like the most 1073 and 1091,from later ones i have not found the best one yet,up to 4.12.1100 is ok,so maybe 4.12.1095 / 4.12.1096 also good ones.
In GLquake MultiTexture is bit brighter and different looking colors than default,if you look close some walls. All should see it easly+default is darker.
Quake3 Vertex Lighting from menu should be used if with MultiTexture, at least with 4.11.1073 it is so, but it should be fastest+q1 and q2 menu issue.
MultiTextutre support missing can also be drivers related, not just ATi OpenGL versions. To be correct, real MultiTexture support came with Rage 128.
It is also correct that from 1095 up to 1107v2 32MB AGP Aperture Size is good choice (16MB size is nice as well),4MB and 8MB is not good also@D3D.

Checked further with older OpenGLs and menu flickering happens with RageXL, but not with RagePro/RageProTurbo, also RageXL does not have 1024x600 resolution, but RagePro/RageProTurbo has.
Someone wants to try, this driver has 1024x600 and has OpenGL 4.11.1073, also it has color and gamma hotkey schemes, but only at atitask for now and for the menu i try to enable it in future release.

We have two versions of GL 4.12.1107, changed 1107v2 to 1108 in the OpenGL Atoglrp9.dll properties and InGame. Shows now bit more inf (Properties/Quake2 pics added).
Same files, Uncompressed Atoglrp9.dll and Compressed Atoglrp9.dl_, also Atoglrp9.bat to install Atoglrp9.dll straight to Windows folder and GL-1108.jpg + Q2-1108.jpg.

OpenGL MultiTexture does not hang on Quake2 with 1108 actually, but GLQuake gives error at start with it and why AGP Aperture size 32MB is much faster on OpenGL 1091?

Great. It’s been a while since I’ve had any spare time to tinker with old hardware, but I still keep a close eye on your driver updates and save the versions you release.
So, thanks.

These are tiny steps, but still something and i do it how i can. Version number was bit hidden in the latest version of the OpenGL. Planning to change Rage OpenGL description in the driver also.😀
This is more how it looks, visible version number is good to have i think. Actually 9xICD does not look best. ICD info is in the file Properties also, maybe better to see GL_VERSION : 1.1 v1108 Win9x.
These changes does not improve performance, but OpenGL 1091 really gives performance boost on default settings or disabled bilinear if AGP Aperture Size is 32MB, but not more than size 32MB.
I can make view screenshots and probably will do it soon with v1091 and agp aperture size on 32mb vs default 64mb at 4.11.2611 driver and my 440ex budget motherboard. 32MB is good for Rage.
