Can I use this to install an ATI Radeon 9200 on Windows 95?

Not yet, but in future I will look into it! Only the Rage 2/3 (IIC/Pro etc), Rage 128 and newer are not supported (yet).

You say that Catalyst 3.4 driver does not work for you with Catalyst 3.1 or Catalyst 3.2 OpenGL?

They do not work with an ATI Radeon 9200 AGP on Windows 95

Should figure out how to backport AMD A9 drivers to 9x, 2k, XP and 7

Tons of these very modern, very slow and useless SOCs are floating around for near free in Dell AIO systems but they aren’t good for anything but legacy software which they are too slow to run under emulation but would work great on bare metal but no drivers exist and of coarse the UFIE issues

I agree.
GCN should come after Intel IGPU though.
By hardware sales, Intel IGPUs are in about 80% of all PCs.
There are millions of Atoms out there with zero purpose that with 9x drivers might become pretty good.

I built:
Convert old ASUS ASC boardviews to KICAD PCB!
Re: A comprehensive guide to install and play MechWarrior 2 on new versions on Windows.
Dos+Windows 3.11+tcp+vbe_svga auto-install iso template
Script to backup Win9x\ME drivers from a working install
Re: The thing no one asked for: KICAD 440bx reference schematic

Any mediocre SOC in my mind is game, even the SO called Celeron and Pentium in name only igpus are cheap and useless at this point.

I will probably do whatever is in the i5-9500T as I have a SFF Optiplex with one.

I agree. Not my project though.

By my rough calculations, sandybridge igpu should comfortably beat the 6800 which is "the last 9x" gpu without workarounds, basically bugs/missing features aside, implying great performance in all 9x only titles (not xp+). 9x only titles should have broadly stopped by 2002 after xp. Very few devs would have not known xp was coming by 2001, and mindlessly continued down the 9x path, so it may have been earlier. I'd actually assume by 2000 they would have known which apis are likely to be deprecated.
In any case, sandyb should be more than adequate.
Scale your expectations accordingly.

Ah cool. Likely to be broadly similar up and down the tree to core 1 and core 10? Before their new name.

Efforts to make one driver for all that is Intel igpu have occurred so it is possible if you get one working the rest won’t be tough.

See above unified intel drivers have been a thing so we might get a bit of joy if he is successful.

Intel made lots of changes Gen3 (GMA900/950) is pretty different to Gen4/5 (they are the same). But it only takes 1-2 days to get the basics going, so it will be worth it. The GMA900/950 is working alright now (not perfect) so unless someone logs some specific issues I will try a new gen soon.
