This fixed the choppy/chirpy audio issues in Ubuntu for me.

Ok now i try it...

But, i have this problem also on windows vista...
But over this problem, is there another problem: i have some artifacts on the screen when i start to play... Any solution please? Thanks!

EDIT: The problem appears when i press alt+enter (fullscreen), the game freezes and i have to close dosbox with task manager...

try different output= types in dosbox's configuration

Where i can found dosbox's configuration?

And is there any configuration belonging to game?

Watching this forum for a long time now, I still wondering:
WHAT is a README, at least? 😉

Still, sometimes someone needs a hint what to search for, in the readme file.

Not worked for me... The sounds still lags and feels bad...
I tried also to change output and the midi device... with no results
