I see there is a official Whiplash patch that adds 3dfx functionality but where can one get the Fatal Racing 3dfx patch? Or maybe there never was one?
I've tried the Whiplash one and it does not work. I found a supposed Fatal Racing 3dfx patch link in this forum but I think that is the 3D Blaster because Dosbox gives and error of SB: 8 bit something.

Also they are statically linked so wrappers won't do you any good. On the other hand, kekko's 3dfx voodoo chip emulation works perfectly (well, there are some glitches but it's a work in progress).

Yeah,thats the link I was referring to.
I tried nGlide and dgVoodoo, neither seemed to work. I thought both these did Voodoo1 emulation also?
Yes but not with games that are statically linked since they don't use external glide*.ovl files.
the mentioned 3dfx patch works for both voodoo1 and voodoo2, tested by myself

Just to be clear, you mean the mentioned patch works on actual V1 and V2 hardware, correct?
