I'm about to test a Geforce 3 Ti 200 video card, on a ~1.6 GHz athlon system. I am going to use the game "Serious Sam" to do the benchmark. What is the best resolution and colour depth setting to use? Egs: 640x480x16, or 1280x1024x32. Etc.
I have drawn up a table of tests to do. They include using various different versions of VIA's 4-in-1 service pack (including not one), and also the unofficial Windows 98 SE service pack. For each of these tests, I am going to install a couple of different versions of the nVidia video driver. The total number of tests to run for Serious Sam will be 23. So, I'd like to pick the best resolution and colour depth setting before I start! 😀 Thanks a lot.
