Running DOSBox .74 on Windows 7 HP Laptop
Trying to install and run NBA Live 95
I have the original disk in my e: drive
I can only get so far until I receive an error sating that my hard disk is full and I need to delete some file to install the game

Here is what I have so far:
I open DOSBox

Z:\>mount c "c:\users\your name\oldgames"
Directory c:\users\your name\oldgames doesn't exist.

Z:\>c:
Drive C does not exist!
You must mount it first. Type intro or intro mount for more information

Z:\>mount d e:\ -t cdrom
MSCDEX installed
Drive D is mounted as CDRom e:\

Z:\>d:

d:\>install
DOS/4GW Professional Protected Mode Run-time Version 1.97
Copyright (c) Rational Systems, Inc. 1990-1994

Your hard disk is full.
You need to delete some files before you can install the game.

D:\NBA95>

What do I do now????

You don't have folder located at C:\users\your name\oldgames.
If a path contains a space you should but quotes around it but I doubt "your name" is accurate.

It's the first line that shows up when I open DOSBox. I didn't type that in.
And I have a folder there.

That shouldn't be the problem anyways

Make a folder at C:\oldgames.
mount c "c:\oldgames"
See if that works better.

Your windows username is really "your name"? And if you didn't type that in you entered this in the autoexec section of the config file. If you didn't do this as well then you are not telling us the whole story, especially where you got that config file from and why you are loading that.

[Thread renamed and moved to DOSBox Games/Apps. Section]

I advise you to go to Guides Section and read the 60 seconds guide (and follow it too).
