I have a boot disk/OS install image from Toshiba to suit my T3200 portable, but it's a 720KB image to suit such a disk.
The bad news is my USB floppy drive won't write to 720KB floppies. The good news is that my T3200 has been specced up with a 1.44MB floppy drive.
If I open up the disk image in something like Winimage, and convert the image to suit a 1.44MB floppy, then write it, is there any reason that shouldn't work in the Toshiba?
The plan is to install the Toshiba MS-DOS 3.3 to get the system-specific utilities like TEST3.COM and XCHAD.COM, then upgrade to MS-DOS 5.0 using my retail box, so I can use all the space on the larger HDD.
