Hi!
My 386 is having issues with SQ4CD (using ADL.DRV and AUDBLAST.DRV).
PC is a 386DX 40 system. 8x1MB RAM. 256KB Cache. MS-DOS 6.22 with a single 500MB FAT partition. EMS memory, 600+K conventional RAM.
The game is the SQ4CD version from GOG.com (files copied onto a CF card).
The game freezes during the introduction at various points, but speech has been going for quite some time. No digital looping sound or anything like that.
Usually around the scene at the bar. The same files work flawless on my Super Socket 7 time machine.
But one time I got a crash back to DOS with an error message:
zero hunk allocation request. Script #: 0, IP: d41
Any pointers as to what this could be causing this?
PS: Will try a different sound card next.
Update 1: Same issue with a SB16.
