hallo,
i have a real big Problem by the configuration of my dosbox tool.

My System (real):
Win 7 on Intel core duo CPU T6600 @ 2,2 Ghz , 4 GB Ram , 64 Bit
Prolific USB to Serial COM-port with RS232 PL-2303 XA / HXA - RS 485 Converter
FTDI USB to Serial Converter

My System (Emulatetd)
486 DX2 66 Mhz 8 MB Ram
COM 1 , 9600,8,n,1 Hardware Float Control
COM 2 , MPI 187,5 KBaud --- DP 1,5Mbaud Connection to Mashine NCU 572 CNC
DOS / WIN3.11
Software - NC -DDE , DP Mill , MMC Systemsoftware (Siemens) same specs like Step7 software

Problem :
The Software is running perfect ( after modification 😉 )

but i can´t connect to mashine over COM2
COM1 error Desired Serial mode not supported (9600,5,n,1) (it´s not tragic , don´t Need it )
COM2 error Framing 709, Parity23, Overrun RX:0 (IF0:0), TX:0 , Break 0
Framing and Parity are different sometimes

Have tried many configurations on dosbox.conf , but there is no Chance.

i´m in big Trouble, i need this Mashine realy quick , so please help me.

and sorry for bad english, ist not my favorit language.

This should probably be in the DOSBox forum.

USB to serial converters tend to not work very well. Reliable communication sometimes requires a genuine serial port on the motherboard.

Also, are you using both of these converters at once? If you only need COM2, then you should probably get rid of your COM1 in order to keep things simple.

Are you using DOSBox? Because DOSBox is not nearly that precise.
Try decreasing the cycles.

5,n,1 doesn't make any sense. You may have a configuration error somewhere.

You can try to play with the rxdelay and txdelay parameters. But DOSBox's timing isn't exact enough at the small level to support this serial bus topology.
