How to ask questions the smart way!
There is a horrible kludge described in Re: Printing & clipboard-exchange - kludgy workaround for DOSBox under Windows .
Thanks for Jorpho
Actually, I need to copy content from Excel to DosBox windows directly. There are too many recodrs need to copy to DosBox window manually every day. Is there any command for this case? Who can help me!!!
Also, DOSBox IS NOT SUITED TO RUN YOUR NON-GAMING DOS APPLICATION
There are VMs that would probably be better suited to your needs.
Hi,collector
I did not use DosBox before. Can you help me on this case step by step?
Thanks you!
There are many guides out there regarding the installation of XP in a virtual machine; see for instance http://www.pcworld.com/article/2139983/compat … al-machine.html .
Alternatively, your DOS program will probably run just fine in the 32-bit versions of Windows 7 and 8.1. Or you could use Windows 7 Pro or Windows 7 Ultimate, which include "XP mode", which is basically a pre-configured virtual machine.
Unfortunately, the old Dos Program will crash in XP mode or other virtual machine. DosBox is my last hope. But I have to copy content from Excel to DosBox windows directly. No, there is no way to do this this way. You might want to look whether you can convert the excel to something the program can load via a file and not copy/paste

Try another virtual machice application (eg. VirtualBox) with pure dos installed, without windows. It should work just fine
