How would I use DOS mode in Windows ME? 98SE2ME gives me a error saying it can't fimd "Program".

Have you tried to find the problematic program in your install of 98SE2ME with MSCONFIG?

Anyways... this is a link to instructions how to patch WinME:

The correct way is the WinME bootdisk.
Theoretically you can replace standard WinME io.sys and msdos.sys to bootdisk versions. And get DOS 8.0/WinME dualboot mode. IIRC there even was a custom patch...
If you want to add "restart in MSDOS mode" as the shutdown choice and .pifs - don't know.

The program puts stuff in the "Program Files" folder. It can only find "Program" though, which of course. Isn't a folder.
I still don't know how to fix it.
It only does this after Install. Only one time in fact.
