I just recieved my Asus P5A, and I noticed that it is a revision 1.6 and the chipset is Ali-V Revision G or E.
The biggest chip up at the CPU has "G" printed, and the small down around the PCI/ISA slots have "E" printed.
I have two questions at the moment, regarding this board.
What revision of the chipset is this? And second. Is the Asus P5A Rev. 1.6 any good over, say, revision 1.4/1.5's
For the moment, I am quite happy with this purchase. It came with two mem-modules, a K6-2-500 and a GF2-MX400-64.
I got all of this, really cheap. Just 200 kroners without shipping, which is roughly 30 US Dollars.
(cheap retro hardware is still to be found I guess)
Thanks in advance.
Don't eat stuff off a 15 year old never cleaned cpu cooler.
Those cakes make you sick....
