Is it possible, and if so how to, export files from the virtual mounted drive onto the local hard disk?

Verified... Thank you Dominus!

So for others who may find the thread later -- although you mount a virtual drive to DOSBox it's still saving and updating to the local directory from which you mounted.

Actually you don't mount a virtual drive.
When you do "mount c c:/dosgames", the REAL folder "dosgames" on the REAL drive c:/ gets used in Dosbox as drive c:/. So nothing vietual.
