Hi all!
I'm running SW in Windows 98, and if I use 640x480 or higher resolution then the game palette is corrupted (except for the 3DR logo and SW title splash screens). I suspect that the SVGA palette gets changed only once during the splash screens and all further attempts fail.
This also happens when I try to run the game in Windows 2000/XP with VDMSound. Is there any workaround for this problem? My display adapter is ATI Radeon 9700.

I've been looking for a soultion to this problem for a while as well. Does anyone have any ideas? Is it maybe ATI's drivers?

It's seems to be hardware related, because DOS programs don't use OS drivers, at least not under win98. They've probably left out proper VESA support from their chipset.
