so i was just taking a look at my mach 64 that i have had since i was a kid.. it outputs a yellow screen.
i think it was thrown in a box with a bunch of other cards by my stepdad when i wasnt living at home....
i noticed that i think theres a broken component on the pcb.. (the 3rd black square from the left near the vga connector)
i took a pic.. can u see? is this something that can be repaired?
the card works fine but the video is all yellow-tinged.. i guess thats because its only getting the G + B without the R? green + blue = yellow?? 😁
i always thought it was to do with the pins inside the vga connector itself.. never noticed this before
dont ask me why ive never thrown this card out 🤣
pretty sure it was my first ever pci card
is that just a simple resistor? does it just need those two points connected?
