Topbench reports a cpu of 386dx40, when speedsys guesses correctly (1/3rd of cpu speed, which is the proper moslo parameter) but then it crashes with an opcode/divide by zero error. (seems to happen with all slowdown apps) Landmark is too old to measure anything beyond a 2/386 according to someone on here. Am I going to run into problems no matter what slowdown utility I use? I don't mind speedsys crashing, since it's at least accurate, but I have to do a hard reset each time it does that.

For some reason I like PMIPS. Does different tests and shows graphically. You can also save results and compare. Runs fine up to P-133.

Does anyone recall a benchmarking program called SYSWIN? I seem to recall it was either shareware or commercial, but it seems to have disappeared. I believe I've got a copy on my DOS machine, but I won't be able to have a look for a few weeks.

Didn't notice it 🤣

But have downloaded it and it's OK. Nice little CPU bench program.
