After not using my pentium I for a few weeks and having no power cable connected, I wanted to fire it up again to play some dos.
The moment I turned the computer I recieved a keyboard error (but could still use my keyboard) and power management error (CPU fan RPM error no biggie) also it gave a very low volume continues beep (figured CPU or something), I checked power management and disabled the CPU fan RPM detection and the beep code ceased (temperature was at 30 degrees).
Continued and my mouse somehow stopped working on random when started along with the keyboard, sometimes I recieve a keyboard error and windows not detecting a mouse (I tried all my PS/2 mouses and another keyboard no change). This happens at random, sometimes both are detected perfectly and will work untill rebooted (this is where I am at a lose at how this is is possible)
This has never happened before, and after trying standard plug & play diagnosting and solutions I could only guess at a problem with the caps (these are still the original caps)
