Bought these (retro) hardware today

1st one is labeled "BAY 1000C" and comes with a Phoenix BIOS dated 04/20/88. I received it with the wire-fix, but it has still problems with the power supply and does not work. Maybe an easy fix.

The other one works perfectly and as far as I remember it looks exactly like the board that was installed in my 1st PC I worked so many years with:

Already tested 3 and they are running 😀
4 of the boards share the same BIOS "AWARD 3.03 01".

This one has BIOS "Award 0N3.03 NFS" with a "DISK STEP RATE" option. This is new to me, related to the floppy..?

6th one is VIP BAM/12-S2 M214111, will test tomorrow.

This looks like it is also laid out for 386sx. Stason indicates this is an Easy Data board.
Same board layout appeared under both 286 and 386 listing, with different "factory jumpers".
(I wonder if I can solder 386sx onto it and switch between 286 and 386sx)

No, you can't. It's designed to be either a 286 or a 386SX.

Got another board which I spotted in a scrap lot. Only little part was visible on the bad seller photo. This is what I got.

Battery damage is severe, but after cleaning it does not look that bad anymore. No surprise its not working (Reset is on all the time), but at least I got a CPU and some RAMs...

I know I'm a little late to the party, but this board is pretty cool for a 286. It has a fairly well integrated chipset, but the board is still full length. PCB quality looks to be excellent. It has a Dallas clock chip, which probably saved the board from being eaten by battery acid. It has 8 SIMM slots, which is fairly rare on a 286. They usually have 4, if they have any at all.
As you've pointed out, this board can also be equipped for 386SX, which means at minimum this board will probably work at 20MHz reliably...so if you want to experiment with fast 286 CPUs, this board seems like a good candidate. I wonder if the 387 socket can be used with an 80286 in place.
...and something unusual is that the board uses square oscillators rather than rectangular ones.

What did you end up doing with this one?

Does one of these biosses have a User type 47 set by user manually?

Dont like that the type 47 is set fixed already.. I know it was normal back in the day.. But now days its to limited on the harddrive space.
I know i can use XT IDE card or such.. But iam hope more in finding a more advanced bios for it.. Brand it doesnt matter.

What did you end up doing with this one?

I think this board tops out at 16MHz on the 386sx side. Not too keen on clocking it at 20MHz, since the processor clock to peripheral bus clock is locked (strapping option?) and 20MHz clock will probably cause them to fail. The board is currently sitting in a box. I pulled the Dallas clock but hasn't gotten around to fitting a coin battery holder to it yet.

Tested on my own and can confirm the ST62 Chipset works fine with above linked MR-BIOS "V000B200 HI LO.rar".

Is it maybe possible to dump the Keyboard bios rom? The main roms works fine, but input of the keyboard is locked.. I think that the current Keyboard bios for the Phoenix bios isnt compatible with the AMI bios set.

It's not a keyboard BIOS - it's keyboard controller. Think of it like Atmega on Arduino, but it's MCS-48 series microntroller (of course it has it's own ROM buried inside). I think Willem and some older programmers support MCS-48 series, but likely it won't be possible to dump the ROM content from them.
Keyboard controller is quite independent and it shouldn't really matter what kind of controller you install in the motherboard (the later ones with more advanced firmware and programmable rates may not work). Unless motheboard has it integrated in the chipset (I've seen boards like these) - they are all pin compatible with Intel 8042 (at least in 286 motherboards) and from my experience - compatible with each other.

The MR bios also doesnt work.. with this phoenix keyboard bios. I think its only compatible with AMI or AWARD.

The keyboard controllers are interchangable between manufacturers, see my post dated 2019-05-07, 15:02 in this thread. You cannot copy them, there also no need to do that because you can take one from another board.

MR-BIOS and the AMI bios that i downloaded from one of your boards (was the second one) work ok. (thanks for that). System goes on.. Both non-working keyboard (locked) and also got a keyboard error.

With the original Phoenix roms its works just fine, and also the keyboard working fine. So the keyboard controller which i know is working and it came with the Phoenix bios set. Doesnt seems to work with the AMI BIOS set and MR BIOS SET.
I also tested it with a working AWARD 286 bios set and i gave me also a keyboard error / non working keyboard.

So my conclusion here is that Other bios sets then Phoenix bios would not work with that phoenix compatible keyboard controller / keyboard bios chip)
Also tried a second M5L8042 which gave me an keyboard error.

Maybe the ICs are pin compatible, but keyboard bios code maybe not.
