I have several DOS gaming computers but most lag in the playing of audio and games.
The 486 just isn't fast enough.
So after watching LGR video on a Pentium over drive CPU upgrade to his famous wood grain 486 I have decided to
build a Pentium system for DOS.

Here are the parts I want to use but I am not sure about how good PCI cards are with DOS games.
Also I am not sure about choosing the best parts for good compatibility and play back of games and audio in DOS.
Specs:
Intel chipset socket 7 motherboard.
CPU - Intel 233mhz MMX
RAM - 64mb EDO
Controller - Onboard
Audio - Sound Blaster Live 5.1 or AWE64 with DOS drivers

Video - ????? Not sure maybe a ET4000, or S3, Or Other ?
CDROM - 52x
Floppy drives - 1.44 and 5.25
Case - AT Case from 1990's
