Ran v6.1.0 on an SXL2-50 system with ALi M1429 chipset.

1) HWiNFO hangs after leaving the ISA/VLB "other devices" section. The Info menu is displayed with Mainboard info highlighted during the hang.

2)The Cirrus Logic CL-GD5428 doesn't show up in the ISA/VLB section but shows up under video information.

3) IRQ assignment correctly shows the AHA-1522B installed, but under SCSI Host Adapter Information, it is listed as the AHA-1520. This system is using the 1522B.

4) Math Co-Pro speed is listed correctly, but the speed is shown as 27.5 MHz. Should be 25 MHz.

Thanks!
1) Please try to disable "Check 3Com EtherLink III Adapter" option if that will solve the hang. If not, can you please take a screenshot of the hang?
2) ISA graphics cards are currently no mirrored in this section.
3) SCSI Host Adapter Information comes from the ASPI driver, so that one is responsible for providing a correct name.

I think the hang is caused by pressing the ESC key after viewing ISA/VLB. When I press the left arrow to exit the submenu, the hang does not occur.

EDIT: Nevermind, I cannot reproduce the hang everytime. But sometimes ISA/VLB shows "no devices", but if I run it again, it finds the 3Com etherlink III. Every other time, it doesn't find it, then it finds it.

Thanks! Please try this build if it still freezes at Super I/O check, I expect it to report the FDC37C663QF instead of freezing:

Still freezing, attached picture is without EMM386.
With EMM386 is same plus message "Fatal error, cannot continue".

Try this version if you can reproduce the hang here. It should also update the FPU clock:
HWINF610.ZIP

Hung before seeing the welcome screen with this new fix.

How come, there were no changes that could cause such issue. Is that hanging always, is at least the background displayed?

Background displayed, but hangs before welcome screen. I'm in the process if putting the previous version back on to ensure that the welcome screen is displayed.

Previous version works. As before, sometimes it shows the 3Com under ISA/VLB, sometimes it does not. At times where it says "No Devices found", if I press ESC, ESC, ESC to get back to the home screen, the system will hang.

I leave hwinfo.ini in there so that CPU methods 1 and 3 are disabled, otherwise the CPU gets reset to 1x mode. You should be able to detect the CPU in 2x mode, do the CPU reset, then write 2x mode back to the CPU register.
