Very nice I got that exact card as a christmas present to myself the year it was released.

Recently I've got (seller photos):

IBM PS/2 Model 70. PSU works but computer doesn't show anything on the screen. Few elements on the PCB are quite warm - I need to check the motherboard. Fingers crossed it's some capacitor/regulator issue... It also contains ESDI HDD, it spins up - with a bit of luck maybe it will work. I think I overpaid for it - 75$.

Linksys 16-port 10/100 switch. I've bought some CAT6 cables for it for cheap. Perfect for my setup - I have a lot of PC's ready-to-run, connected to KVM. Now almost every PC have access to the internet. Including 486! Love that for transfer files via FTP.

Some small AMD 386DX-40 motherboard without BIOS and after small battery leakage. Should be fixable.

Inspired by LGR, I've bought full-metal aluminium case. I'll build a Tualatin PC on it. Can't wait for the package!

Really nice finds. I do hope you get that ps/2 working. I have the Apevia MX- pleasure version of that case and I love it.

This version was way better than the Accountant Edition!

No pics yet but have what I believe to be 2x Evergreen 5x86 133 (AMD) on the way as well as what I think to be a Gainberry 5x86 - not sure of the speed as there is nothing on top of the heatsink. It is the larger black heatsink so maybe it is the 133... wishing for a Cyrix variant which may have not even existed at the 133 speed from Gainberry.
Why do I need more? I have no idea.

Also have 4 more COAST sticks on the way. Maybe more if the seller has any more.

That one is a real beauty 😍, congrats. I just wish those RAM SIMMs were red, too.

Received the SAAYM card and DIN-5 cables for a 4-port KVS system I ordered (still waiting for the unit to arrive along with the serial cables).

Interestingly, they never were. I've still got my originally included 1 MB memory stick and it's all nice and green.

Yeah, it's not that bad. I hope that motherboard can be fixed easily. ESDI drive can be replaced with some MDA SCSI controller if the hard drive will come out faulty.

I already had the board as part of the TB Montego II Home Studio set, but this is a very nice addition to the collection!

The “Cancun” font is so much a ripoff of Canon.

I got a V3 3000 AGP and a GF point of Veiw GT240 1gb 128bit model (https://www.techpowerup.com/108492/point-of-v … 40-accelerators). Both untested, costing 5 dollars each one.
Is the GT 240 "useful" for xp games unitl 2005?

A v3 for $5 is a steal. It appears the GT240 will handle XP games OK, although I prefer a GTX2/5 series: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/axle-gefor … -gt-240/18.html

In many cases the OPL4 is connected to a PCM/SoundBlaster compatible sound chip on the board as a wavetable device, so it's accessible through an MPU-401 compatible interface, no special dos drivers needed. I have a system with an OPL3-SA3 + OPL4, and it's set up like that - and works nicely in dos using UNISOUND to configure the SB Pro emulation.

This weeks local pickup (same seller)

A Supermicro P6DGU + 2 x 1000EB P3s + 2GB PC133R + Matrox Millenium G400 32MB.

I already have a GX-based dual board from my Data General Aviion server (L440GX+) but it lacks Coppermine & AGP (slot) support. Although the 1000EBs only run at 750MHz stock (7.5 x 100) the bios does have some OC options to up the FSB all the way to 133MHz though I'm not sure I'd risk that long-term. Slot 1 1000Es for dual running are rare & pricey and although the board will happily run a single skt 370 1000/256/100 in a slotket, it mainly refuses to run both (I did try with the MSI 6905 Masters from my P2B-DS and all my other dual-capable slotkets) - something Supermicro were aware of as their support mentions only one unnamed slotket as working in dual mode with these boards.

This was the board I was after but was also offered this to sweeten the deal

A Compaq Deskpro EP board (BX) + 700MHz slot 1 Coppermine + 512MB PC133 + Matrox Millenium G400 16MB.

I have that same supermicro board and it's great. Super stable and great performance.
