Thank you, pool7. I'll have to try the 5570 and 5572 drivers and there are indeed chances that the card will work.
Mostly I'm hoping that the MPU-401 port will work in DOS.
The only card that 100% supports MPU-401 in bare DOS is Roland SCP-55. All other cards support it in Windows.

Yeah, I've gone along this path with same result. I was also looking through old snapshots of ratoc website on archive.org. But no luck there as well. Cardsoft Socket/Card Services was just one of the provider of drivers for PCCMIA chipset, it was very common and usually provided as part of the software package for laptops, it still easy to find on laptop manufacturers websites/ftp from the time.
But it supports only a limited number of chipsets that were in use at the time, Intel 82365, Databook, Vadem, Toshiba ToPic, stuff like that.

PCI PCMCIA adapters don't use those, I have one with an ENE chipset which is only supported by APSoft Cardware for example.
Cardware 7.0 has a long list of supported chipsets, it probably suppports them all... there is a 14 trial version though.
It's possible to find PCI cards with other chipsets which may or may not be supported by Cardsoft Socket/Card Services but you'll have to look for that info.
That said, it's easier to go with an ISA PCMCIA adapter if you can find one and if you have a free ISA slot to use it.

What switches did you use?

But as far as i can see from readme files and descriptions on ratoc page 5572 does not support MIDI out via joystic port in DOS.
Readme for 5572 does not mention /index22 switch, whereas in 5571's readme it's mentioned.

Yes, I tried this switch. I was putting port address there /MPU=330 Dunno if that's correct. Maybe should be YES.
I also tried some of these switches in combinations that made sense. No luck.

Yes, these drivers are known to be available. The one that is missing is DOS/Win 3.x for REX-5571.

Got a respond from Ratoc. Unfortunately they don't have the drivers. The guy on the other end was very responsive and indeed was trying to find the drivers, but with no luck.
