nice! hidden treasure!
Got lucky with some local finds not too long ago. These are mostly Asia Pacific versions. It's wonderful that there were so many flightsim series to choose from back then like DID/MicroProse/Microsoft/EA Jane's.
Theme Hospital. Pretty good condition, complete with all contents.
I’ve always wanted to play this on the SNES, but never got to.
Will try on my DOS rig 🤗
I got it back in the day for the same reason, because I got to play it on SNES at a friends house, I was really bummed when I realized it was not actually the same game as on the SNES and was missing the part that was the reason I bought it for in the first place ^^

You, sir, have very good taste.
(I still like the first AH64-D Longbow game more than the second, but they are both AMAZING)
Freshly purchased a few minutes ago. Ironically, I have pretty much every DUKE3D big box except this one, haha.

Noice! Our AU version is a bit different because we got a 'modified version' of the game and it says so on the box - they turned off and locked the option to hide / show the rude bits. Some light hex editing sorted that out or of course you could download a fix from local BBS' and as always that sort of censorship increased interest in the game so a waste of time really, whatevs.
Life? Don't talk to me about life.
NHL 2001 and King's Quest Mask of Eternity for $0.49/ea.
Both have a bit of small, hardly noticeable scratches, but in pretty good shape. Might or will get these resurfaced to make them look new and make ISO files of these in case they go bad.

My vanilla DUKE3D game came late last night so I added it to the shelf!
Nice find. I wish I still had my game boxes my stupid younger self got rid of them all for some reason.
I bought Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition and The Witcher 3 in this Steam sale. I played Sleeping Dogs earlier and I liked it so it became obvious I had to buy it instead of play a pirated copy. Also I had played Witcher 3 and also read the book and liked it for its story and so I picked it up.

I have a very (very) small collection of boxed PC games, mostly RPGs with a handful of flight sims. I'm generally happy with printing out PDF manuals from GOG or whatever in booklet form, but sometimes I want the original game in box either for nostalgia or because the game includes large color maps which I wouldn't be able to print out myself.
This week I received two games that I had bought on Ebay:
Darklands
It's complete (even includes the promotional stuff in the box), but the important thing is that the manual and gorgeous map are included and in perfect condition. This is a case where I could have likely printed out the manual, but I wanted the map in its original size and in full color.
I never played this back in the day, so I'm looking forward to it for sure.
The Ultimate Might & Magic Archives
Also complete in decent condition. The main reason for getting this is that it includes the full color maps for each of the included games (Might & Magic 1-5). I guess having the games on CD is a bonus, since I already have them on GOG.
After watching this on LGR Blerbs though I will try it out.
Bought Full Throttle remastered on sale at GOG today. I'll install it on my win10 system and copy the install
over to my win98 rig just to see if it'll run in dos. Been lucky so far doing this for other games.

I bought Hot Rod American Street Drag to replace my cd that got damaged years ago. I can't wait for it to arrive so I can play it again.
Finally got this back. R31. The version with the built in hint engine.
I remember buying it in 1990. I pulled it out of a bargain bin with a couple of other old games. Nobody was playing text adventures anymore by then (Infocom had just gone bust) so stores were practically giving them away.
Is this too much voodoo?
