Just got this. Picked out a lot of stuff from a guy wanted to get rid off his old stuff to make room.
Celeron 300A
Like 6x pII and PIII slot 1, 600mhz and down.
Pentium pro
7900gt
Geforce 4mx
Hardrives
Last but not least, a combi voodoo 1 and MX something. Dont know anything about it.
EDIT: Ahh its a Rush, not a good card apparently. but it goes nice into the collection next to Voodoo2, Voodoo 3 2000 & 3000, Voodoo 5 and Banshee. Still need 1, 4 and velocity at least 😀

Neat Rush card.

Are they really that bad? Its just a Voodoo 1 with 2D compatibilities, right?
If it's anything like the Voodoo 1, I think its great.

Bad 2D, worse 3D, not even particularly compatible with v1.

@Aublak
They say so, at least it was when it launched. they crippled one chip a little compared to V1 and the memory is shared between the 2D and 3D chip. Apparently there was a lot of driver problems in the start, so it got a really bad reputation.
With the drivers we can use today, it probably is fine. Although 10-20% weaker than V1, according to what i read recently 😀

If the card is the one in the picture, you won't be able to unlock it because half the memory module pads are unpopulated.

If its possible, i tell ya, will try it at the Weekend.

Rear TMU chip is overheated by the darker spot on back side. Make sure this is cooling properly.

Cheers,

This stuff... the simulator thing is the one I showed few days ago on the seller's pics...

That's a nice setup. Have you been able to try it out?

@Predator99: the Aztech Sound Galaxy NX Pro 16. Got that card myself (NIB) in my 486 and it's amazing. Gotta love multiple CD-ROM support with Covox Speech Things, Disney Sound Source, Windows Sound System, Adlib/SB Pro, and WaveTable (except the WaveTable only works in Windows and not DOS is my understanding).

Careful of that Hiper Type-R psu, as I seem to remember they had something of a rep for self-destruction 🙁 , though I do like their 1U media cases which I still use.

Bought a CMSLPT and TNDLPT from the 8-Bit Guy's site (the CMSLPT is for my Packard Bell and the TNDLPT is for my 486DLC machine). Might get an MPU-401 card for the 486DLC machine and a parallel port switch box for the joystick, audio, and MIDI ports to switch between systems without a big mess of wires.

Got a few things so far;

1. Tiger branded K6-2 system; M577 with a K6-2 300. Doesn't appear to POST, and I might fault the M577 on that one.
2. P5A-B with a K6 300. If the M577 is shot, the P5A-B will go in its place.
3. Compaq Contura 400C with the i486 DX2-40 and 12MB of RAM. The Quantum Daytona 250MB is dead (par for the course), so I'll be swapping that out with an IDE/CF adapter with a 2GB CF card.
4. Matrox G450 PCI. Not the best PCI card, but I'm not going to be running high intensity mid-90's titles. It's just a display card when I'm overclocking on motherboards that don't have 1/2 AGP dividers.

Got some active bids on more items (i486 SX25 tower and TXP4 with a P166 MMX), and will hopefully post them soon.

Yes, its a very nice card, unfortunately this one is very damaged. But maybe it still works, game port and mic in is not needed.

Good point, didnt notice that. Cooler is running well but maybe thermal paste needs to be replaced.

nice Voodoo5.

I see only two missing SMDs. Fix that and you look golden.

Good eyes, have to look again. But it seems to work at least under DOS.

I also bought a FIC FR33E mATX Socket 370 board to replace the PC Partner PM601TMS3-T898C I currently have in there. Both are PLE133T boards, but this one supports VIA C3 which I plan to use for a DOS/Win9x frankenstein build.. I'll post photos of that one later.

Working happily in my mATX DOS/Win98SE PC. I quite love this board.

With a real K6/300? Not a K6-2/300?
These K6/266 and K6/300 CPUs are basically ordinary K6 CPUs, but with a die shrink. I don't see a lot of these CPUs floating around, they are kinda cool 😜

Received this 16-bit I/O Data PCCAP video capture card. It's a clone of NOGATech card. Tested it in W98, and it actually works.

The seller did say K6-300. I can't see the processor all that clearly in his photos, but if it turns out to be a K6-2, I won't complain. 😉
Update: I did another check on the photos, and can barely read the -2 on processor. So yep, it's another K6-2 300 for my collection.
