Hi all,
I do apologize if this has been asked and answered before, I could not find any information after searching.
I am trying to install an old application through DB since trying to install it through the regular windows prompt (Windows XP) returns various errors and goes nowhere. However, when I launch the installation file, it is only able to detect the Z:\ which is obviously not an installable drive so I am unable to proceed.
I have tried mounting my physical drives to different directories and have the folder with the installation files mounted directly, but no matter what I do it seems drive 'Z' is all that is detected by the installation program.
So my question is, can anyone help me in figuring out how to get a directory or drive mounted so it is detectable through DOS installation programs? For the record, the install I'm working with is for an old games compilation CD (Mega Games) although I do not believe that it is an application-specific problem.
Thank you for any information you may offer.
