Brostenen you must be 8 feet tall to get through those meals you describe 😂

Just the average 6,2 feet and somewere around 143 pounds in weight.
Many people say it is a blessing to have my weight. It is not. It is hell to never be able to gain weight and always be hungry.
I have had my metabolism measured the first 5 times at the doctor, and it have always been dead center.
Must be the genes that I have, or some kind of wierd medical condition of some bizarre type.
One thing is sure... I can fall asleep or get drunk after one beer, and I vomit after one zip of a joint. (tried pot a few times back in the 90's)

Whatever it is. I have no idea. I just feel more right and awake in the head, 20 minutes after consuming massive amount of meat.
If I go vegetarian for a week, I become kind of zombie like. No energi, and a general apathy towards everything.

I had greasy homemade protein burgers for dinner today...

1: Small handfull of mixed salad, on top of some good burger dressing.
2: One fried egg with a slice of fried ham.
3: Burger paddy made from minced beef, weighing some half a pound (250 gram)
4: Ketchup.

Uhh... And I had two of those burgers for dinner. Mmmm... Protein from 3 different animals. It was good and I am full. 😜

Oh finally, someone who actually bothered to put up an effort with food. Looks good, what I can say.

Yes that's not heavy for a tall guy - I hover around 165 pounds (75kg) and am 6" tall, and if I don't get enough exercise then I'll gain weight pretty quickly. You're lucky in some ways - losing weight is hard - but quality meat can be expensive!

Life? Don't talk to me about life.

3.64 pound double R ranch flat brisket. Covered in a rub and smoked for 4 hours with cherrywood from our property.
Edit: Just to clarify it was under $50 including sides for a meal that fed all 3 of us for 3 days.
Edit Edit: I hope you all enjoy the vintage 77 double wide mobile home kitchen. The shag carpet is even "Vintage". 😉

Thanks... 😀 To me this is too simple for what I can do in a kitchen. Problem is that I am not a millionaire, so I can never go all in. Though a burger like this, is quite tasty and is good enough on an everyday evening. The best type of food, is actually what takes a long time making. 😜

Well... True that. Meat is not cheap at all. However it is the most precious food source that we have. And need to be treated with deep respect before butchering.

Just imagine you having to eat to the point were you look like you have eaten an american football. And even if you do that, you will never gain weight no matter how little you are using your body. I have managed to loose weight, by sitting still one single month and eating junk food. The weight I lost, was because I lost muscle mass. In a way I can gain weight, but only when I build muscles.

Another bad thing about not being able to build fat on the body, is that you get a sore body during sleep. You can not cuddle in the sofa with a woman, because her weight will push your muscles against the bones. And that is extremely painfull. Sometimes I can't even sleep, unless I make a second top layer on the bed. You need to be happy, that you can gain weight and control it actively.

Home baked peperoni sandwich again. Pizza dough folded over peperoni, then baked until it looks right and when cold enough, filled with salad and sour cream dressing.

Just made my self a Pie, because it is ages ago that I made it last time. I have used a traditional pie dough without sugar and added ham (shredded pieces) and fine chopped leek. Then added a sour cream and egg mixture. The mixture is extremely simple. 6 egg's and 3 deciliter of sour cream. Some black pepper and a pinch of powdered garlic. Baked at 200 degree celcius untill it was done. I used 18 percent sour cream, however if I used 38 percent (real sour cream), then the ratio would be 1 egg for each deciliter of sour cream.

Very nice that looks great. It's very similar to a quiche.

I had to google it. Yup. The same thing. We just call it "food-pie" here, because it is a pie to eat for dinner and not a dessert pie.

Second attempt at homemade Char Siu Bao (Chinese steamed BBQ pork buns). Still perfecting it, but damn close. One of my top five weaknesses in the world. So addictive!

I made a John Dillermand cake.....
It is basically a spunge/pound-cake, that are deconstructed to small pieces. Mixed with cocoa powder, raspberry jam, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, whiskey and a tiny bit of melted butter. Then rolled into a log and covered with a thin layer of marcipan (3/4 marcipan and 1/4 powdered sugar) red food dye for the stripes, painted on top....

That sounds yummy And looks pretty too

It is a tribute to the Danish childrens tv-show, called John Dillermand. You can translate it roughly to John Johnson. 😉
And yes, it is really good. If you make it in smaller pieces, and ditch the red, then dip the ends in molten chokolate.
Then you have those we call (roughly translated) timber logs.
You can also make it into "Student slices". They are something out of this world.
Normally it is with rum, however I think it is better with whiskey. So I used a 15 year Glenfiddich.

I have added a couple of pictures below. First timber logs and then student slices.
