Hi all I have a few socket 7 motherboards laying around that have Pentium MMX 200 in them
This is a little to fast for my liking and want to know if I can fit a 75mhz Pentium Cpu in them? I'm not sure what Cpu types will work with socket 7 the slower the better thanks

Note that you can slow down a Pentium MMX using SetMul. Toggling the various test registers as well as L1 and L2 caches can give that CPU quite a bit of range.

Check out this video by Phil for more details.

PC#1: Pentium MMX 166 / Soyo SY-5BT / S3 Trio64V+ / Voodoo1 / YMF719 / AWE64 Gold / SC-155
PC#2: AthlonXP 2100+ / ECS K7VTA3 / Voodoo3 / Audigy2 / Vortex2
PC#3: Athlon64 3400+ / Asus K8V-MX / 5900XT / Audigy2
PC#4: i5-3570K / MSI Z77A-G43 / GTX 970 / X-Fi

You can use a 75MHz Pentium on all boards that can set a 1.5x multi and 50MHz FSB.

Generally it shouldn't be any problem. However you have to check for each board anyway as you need to set the jumpers accordingly (voltage, etc).
