Heyyo,
I just installed a GeForce 4 MX 440 in my Pentium 3 Windows 98 PC. I previously had a TNT M64 installed. I removed the drivers for the M64 and installed the card in the PC. Then I installed this driver:

Everything seemed to go well during the installation. However, whenever Windows boots up the screen flashes to black a few times and then looks fine. I set the display settings to 800x600 and 32 colors. I have Nview set up although I'm only using one monitor and I have the settings set properly for that monitor.
I played the time demo 1 on a free demo version of Quake 3 Arena and it ran at 88 fps with no problems. I then did a time demo on Quake 2 and it ran fine with no problems and reported 60 fps.
I played Quake 2 and it looked great and ran buttery smooth. However, at a certain point the game crashed. This also crashed the entire pc and I couldn't do anything and I couldn't even ctrl alt delete.
I tried to run the game again and the game crashed, this time with an error message:
The pc didn't crash this time though just the game.
If there's anything I could do to prevent or resolve this issue, I would love to hear about it.
Thanks
I am as smooth as a gravy train with flaming biscuit wheels.
