Has anyone here seen or used one before? They were produced by MSI for Aldi's OEM "brand", Medion.
It seems they are readily available for VERY little money - <10€ for some of the cards, like the 9600 GT, which is the last one with the breakout connector while others like the Radeon 9800 XL and XXL, which were the first ones with the connector, are pricier. And the breakout adapter (MS-4073) can be picked up around 5.
I figure that must be great for emulation, since you should be able to connect a wealth of CRT monitors or, better yet, TVs, to the PC.
But how do these breakout connectors work? Do they just permanently clone the the output? Do I need to use a special driver or software for it to work?
