Hi all,
I'm having trouble running Marco Polo with DosBox 0.72 under Vista.
After executing the game, it plays the intro and subsequently hangs.
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks.

Read my 60 Seconds Guide to DOSBox.
If that doesn't help, come back with details on how you mounted your C and D drives, how you did the install, how you configured sound, music etc.

Hi MiniMax,
Thanks for taking the time to reply. The following are my settings in dosbox.conf:
mount c c:\oldiesMOUNT D F:\ -t cdrom -ioctlc:
According to HOTU (http://www.LINK.DELETED), the game is a full cd-rip but lacks a setup or install file. Anyway, I made 2 copies, on my harddisk and a cd-rom. Both experienced the same issue of freezing after intro. As for the game settings, the music seems to play at default settings and seeing there isn't a setup file, I couldn't really do anything about that. I have disabled sound in dosbox.conf and it still can't get pass the intro.
Thanks,

Since you are using an illegal copy I suggest you take your questions to where you obtained it. Experience tells me, that this is not caused by a problem with DOSBox, which seems to be confirmed by Marians positive entry in the compatibility database, and the fact that I don't see other posts about the game here.
