Hello,

I have a problem with installing Theme Park (1994/Bullfrog). I use Dosbox.

When I type the command "install", I become a window for installig Theme Park. But when I go to "install path" and try to change it/ install it, it doesn't work. It says: "you must install from Floppy".

I tried to play the game without installing and type the command: "main" but than nothing happens!!

How can I install Theme Park? Thx!

Read my 60 Seconds Guide to DOSBox (and don't just read it - follow it too).

Since you are(?) installing from a diskette, you must mount a floppy-drive as A instead of a CD-drive as D. Something like this should do it:

mount A "A:\" -t floppy

followed by

A:
install

should do it.

If that doesn't help, come back with details on how you mounted your C and D drives, how you did the install, how you configured sound, music etc.

Reading the aptly named README file will be a good idea too.

I have burned all of the files on a cd-rom. I never hadfloppys. So I use a cd-rom.

* First I Mount c:

mount c c:\oldgames

* Then I mount my cd-drive:

mount e e:\ -t cdrom

That all works so far. Then I typed:

Z:\>e:

E:\>install

Then I become the window from the Theme Park game for installing it. But I can't install it/change the pat-name. Then it says: "You muss install from floppy".

Then I tried:

E:\>main

But than notihing happens...

Did you try what MiniMax posted? You should end up at an a:\> prompt
where you can call install from. Does this result in the same error message?

Definitely try what MiniMax suggested in his latest post. It will make the game think your CD-ROM is actually a floppy on drive A:

If that doesn't work then maybe you didn't copy all of the installation files when your made your CD-ROM, or maybe it's looking for a drive label.

hi guys, i'm still having problems installing this game.
ok, first, i got it from [ABANDONWARE LINK REMOVED]
its in 6 floppies in separate folders. i've been trying to mount them but i can only mount disk1. there's no way for me to go back to dos prompt to mount disk 2. neither can i do an imgmount. how do i mount 6 folders into a floppy drive that allows me to switch while the game installer is running?

Umm, you mean that you don't own your copy of the game?
And yet you are asking us for help?
This is the wrong place for your question.
Try asking the people at the site where you downloaded it.
