I am using Windows 7 32 bit Ultimate and trying to use a legacy dos application of Lotus 1-2-3 v3.4 or v4. I have tried using an XP video driver, but it still doesn't work properly so I thought I would try dosbox. Problem here is, the lotus application will get to the splash screen and then it stops and doesn't progress forward to the actual spreadsheet.

Anyone else have success getting Lotus v3.4 or v4 working using dosbox?

Thanks

Randy

Thanks. Good information too. After "monkeying" with the settings, I think setting the CPU to "Normal" fixed it.

After loading I soon realized I was unable to gain access to network and other drives. Have any insight on dosbox accessing non mounted drives?

You can only access drives you have mounted internally in DOSBox this is how it's designed.

Lotus Agenda in DOSBox
I'm trying to run Lotus Agenda (1992 PIM program) in DOSBox. According to a 2008 post on blog "http://takingnotenow.blogspot.com", Lotus Agenda DOES RUN in DOSBox. However, once the program is running I cannot get it to recognize my data file. I keep getting told my data file's path is no good. Does ANYONE in this forum use Lotus Agenda? I'd like to know exactly what path in the "Retrieve File" dialog box within Agenda. I am using Windows 7 running DOSBox on 64-bit machine. Thank you very much !
