I finally upgraded my 486 pc with 128kb cache. One of the things i had to do was tracking down 8kx9 tag ram. The main cache consists of 4 UM61256AK-12 chips. After running cachechk i found it's performance to be appalling. Ram access time (write) is a lot slower compared to no L2 cache. Could it be that the cache is 120ns instead of 12?
