Hi all,
I've got this K6 III 400 on the Chaintech 5AGM2 mainboard. This mobo would need a special usb connector to enable the onboard option of the Via MVP3 chipset so I choosed to use a Via based 4-1 USB2 pci card.
The problem is that no matter I install it with default or via drivers, it crash the system at boot at Windows logo. I also used a different NEC based usb card and it just crash at the same time. I read somewhere that VIA MVP3 had problems with AGP <-> USB but I don't understand what kind of conflict is there. I tried different configurations of vga and audio card but nothing solve it.
Any advices?
Thank
