Heya,

I just realized when testing on two different keyboards, a IBM Model M 1391411 and a KeyTronic one, that in Borland Turbo C++ 3.0 I cannot perform hold down the shift key and use the arrow keys to select lines of code on my MikroMikko 4TT m326 PC (386 SX 16MHz, 2MB RAM).

At first I thought it was a key rollover matrix thing, but then I tested the same two keyboards on my Cyrix 486 PC with the same Borland Turbo C++ 3.0, and there both keyboards do work and are able to select code lines with shift+arrows.

Anyone recall if there might be any DOS things that might affect, or BIOS items around something like this?

Keyboard BIOS probably the reason. Is there a label on the KB BIOS for both boards ? Bet they are different if labeled....

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun
